Polkadot Papoose recently donated our previous baby sling line to the foster moms of Manatee County Florida. It was so fun to hear about how delighted the moms were to receive their very own sling. I wish I could have been there to see their faces. Here is an exerpt from a letter I received from one of the foster moms:

I'm 56 and currently have a 5 day old little boy, Samuel, and a 5 month old little girl, Bethany. I cannot tell you how incredibly helpful the baby sling has been, especially with Samuel. He LOVES to be snuggled inside and is always happy in it. This afternoon I was able to feed Bethany her cereal, fold laundry, change two crib sheets and sweep the kitchen floor--all while Samuel was in the papoose and was feeling loved and secure. Thank you for sharing the papooses with those of us who foster. I'm sure mine will be used with baby after baby!! I like it better than my Baby Bjorn!

My heart smiled. I'm so happy these precious little ones are receiving such great care from these loving and giving mothers.

Polkadot Papoose has had such a fantastic beginning. We've been sewing away filling new orders. I am so happy to be working with all this luscious fabric. Stay tuned. There is a new line in the works. I have my eye on some new fabric lines that are in development. I can't wait to get my hands on some!
